Entrepreneur, occasional consultant, full-time dad of three. Happiest at work when a hard problem finally goes quiet.
I've been building software for about twenty years: first freelance and at Siemens, then as co-founder and CTO of Particulate Solutions, and then for a decade at BRICKMAKERS, a B2B software company where I went from developer to COO and Managing Director. Since 2024 I've been building my own company, Bike Leasing Technologies. I studied Business and Computer Science in Koblenz, which is still a fair description of how I work: half business, half code.
I was raised in a small town in the South-West of Germany. After my studies in Koblenz I settled there, but traveling is a big passion of mine, especially with my wife, our two daughters and son in tow. My favorite destinations are bustling Southeast Asia and the beautiful landscapes of South Africa.
Founded and leading Bike Leasing Technologies: a B2B SaaS platform that automates the leasing process for bicycle retailers, replacing manual portal work across providers. In production use at major German retail groups.
A decade in leadership at the B2B software company, advancing from Lead Software Developer through Team Manager Mobile to COO. Set the strategic direction of the roughly 100-person organization, improved operational efficiency for clients, and cultivated key partnerships to expand service offerings and market reach.
