The boring parts should run themselves.

Retyping portals, copying data between systems, shuffling PDFs: work that keeps people busy without ever needing them. I build systems that take it off their plate.

Jannik Weyrich

I've spent the past years building and operating a SaaS platform that automates leasing for bicycle retailers, from first prototype to production at one of Germany's largest bike retail groups. Before that, I was COO and Managing Director of a software company of around a hundred people. So I know both sides of the table: the one that decides, and the one that has to build and run it afterwards.

Process automation

Replacing copy-paste workflows and media breaks with processes that run on their own.

System integration

Connecting systems that refuse to talk to each other: via API, and where none exists, we find a way.

AI document processing

Turning offers, invoices, and cost estimates into structured, validated data. Privacy-compliant and built for production.

Product & strategy

Taking B2B products from idea to market without getting lost in feature lists.

When people retype portals

A bicycle retailer sells a leased bike. Then someone types the offer data into the leasing provider's portal by hand, across more than ten providers, each with its own forms. Large retail groups keep entire teams busy with nothing else.

I built the platform that ends this: retailers handle leasing in one place, the providers are connected behind it. It runs in production at multiple retailers, among them Fahrrad XXL, one of Germany's largest bike retail groups.

When PDFs are the data source

B2B still runs on PDFs: offers, invoices, cost estimates. People read them fine; systems don't. Through my company Bike Leasing Technologies, I built AI pipelines that close that gap for assona, an insurance specialist with a network of more than 6,000 retail partners, and for my own platform. A document goes in; structured, validated data comes out, ready to submit. GDPR-compliant by design, because with insurance and contract data there's no other way.

The model that reads the document is the smallest part of the work. Most of it sits in validation, edge cases, and operations. That's the difference between a demo and a system you trust with contracts.

When the answer isn't software

Sometimes the best automation is none at all. It's often the degree of automation that makes systems complex and expensive, and not every process needs it. If a simple email does the job of a €100,000 system, I'll say so. Even when that means arguing against my own offering.

I'm not the right fit for every project. In return, you get someone who takes responsibility instead of delivering slide decks, and who has already built and operated what he recommends.
